Altai is a mid-stiff snowboard boot with excellent responsiveness from toe to heel and strong lateral support, perfect for both groomed runs and powder. It features a Double BOA lacing system with External Heel-Lock, with one BOA dial for adjusting the upper zone and another for the lower part of the boot. This design ensures even pressure distribution across the boot and creates and optimal foothold and eliminates heel lift. The Altai's shell is heavily reinforced for durability and is packed with advanced features but offered at a very competitive price. We consider the Nidecker Altai to be the best All Mountain-boot with BOA at this price range.

Technical Information:
Double BOA H4 Coiler Lacing System: Fast and durable BOA lacing system variant.
Gravity+ Outsole: This outsole features EVA cushioning for natural shock absorption. The tread pattern is inspired by snowcat treads, providing excellent grip.
Silver Liner: Inner boot with no pressure points, easy to put on and take off. Hook-and-loop straps on both sides of the tongue keep it in place and an adaptable flex zone around the toes allows for freedom of movement. The liner can also be molded if pressure points are felt.
3D Molded Dual Density Sole: Extra EVA layer provides support to the heel and arch. Silicone printing on top adds grip to the fleece-lined footbed.
Asym 3F: Asymmetrical shape and lacing system for increased support and flex. The asymmetrical placement of the BOA lacing reduces pressure points and enhances medial support at the arch to minimize foot fatigue and cramping.
Articulating Flex Zone: The upper part of the boot is asymmetrically connected to the lower part, allowing natural ankle movement while providing support without shell deformation.
1:1 Lasting: The new last features an 8° forward lean, balancing comfort and performance. The 1:1 last means a dedicated inner boot, shell, and footbed for each full and half size, with separate lasts for men’s, women’s, and youth boots for anatomical accuracy.
3D Molded Toebox: Reinforced toebox with no extra layers or seams around the forefoot for increased durability and a streamlined design. This makes it easier to slide in and out of bindings.
3D Molded Tongue: Anatomically correct and asymmetrical tongue performs better than a standard straight one.
Rubber Backstay: Protects the back of the outsole and boots from wear and tear. The lower part, called the "Transition Zone," fits with the outsole to make it easier to get in and out of bindings without catching.
External Heel-Lock: An extra three-dimensional locking system in the heel that integrates with the BOA lacing for excellent heel grip.
